It triggers a state of awareness inside any truth seeker, injects a thought on Chit(the state of awareness) and jada(the state of dead) and thus tries to philosophise and enlighten the world, the truth of being. Chit(चित्) means those which are never originated or ended and refers to pure consciousness(awareness) and the true nature of the self. Jaḍa (जड) means those which are inert and lifeless and refers to one who is devoid of intelligence.
