Set in Punjab during the 1990s, Soohe Ve Cheere Waleya is a soulful tale that bridges love, poetry, and history across borders. Nirvair Pannu (Sooba), a young man running a telephone shop near the Indo-Pak border, finds solace in the verses aired on Lahore Radio. Unknown to him, those poignant words belong to Naazo, a mute girl in Pakistan who expresses her voice through poetry while struggling with her family’s hardships.
A twist of fate connects them when army wireless sets fall into their hands, creating a secret channel across the border. Amid deception, smuggling, and family struggles, Nirvair discovers that the mysterious poetess he has long admired is Naazo herself.
What follows is an emotional journey that not only unites two hearts but also revives the unfinished stories of Partition—where love, loss, and courage once redefined destinies.
